BBC's 2020 Introducing Artist of the Year, Arlo Parks, has been unveiled as ambassador for the eighth Independent Venue Week (IVW), a seven day nationwide celebration of small music venues, taking place January 25-31, 2021.

Parks follows in the footsteps of previous ambassadors Anna Calvi and Novelist, and commented 'I feel blessed to have been chosen as Independent Venue Week Ambassador. Independent venues are the backbone of live music and I'm determined to help to support and protect these national treasures'.
